Welcome to The Demure Peacock

The Demure Peacock was created simply because I have been for the last six months enjoyed collecting, refurbishing, selling, and being an administrator to the best closed Coach group on Facebook, It's a Coach Thing . I recently helped a friend sell one of her sets. She works two jobs and is a single mother. She just didn't have the time to dedicate to selling it but also needed it sold. So I handled it for her. I enjoyed helping her sell this handbag/wallet set in under a week at the price I proposed, which was higher than she thought she should have asked for. 

I turned to another good friend to authenticate and appraise the set. I was about $35 under the appraised value but he goal was to sell it quickly. Well we did. All my friend had to do was show up as it turned out to be a local deal hand over the set and collect the money. 

I enjoyed helping. I enjoy finding Authentic Coach handbags that need a bit of help as they weren't treated as well as they should have been. I cleaned them up, took the appropriate pictures, listed them for sale, handled interested parties, and sold them for a profit. That was fun too. 

My oldest daughter in California sent me a picture she has had in her phone for almost a year of a handbag she saw and has wanted sine then. Other than the picture she had no idea what the model, name, anything about the bag the brief picture didn't tell her. I was able to identify the handbag in under a couple of hours. Now on to finding this bag for her at the lowest price for the best condition available. That was and will continue to be fun. 

So this is how I began, this is how I will continue to have fun, by helping others, for an affordable fee of course.
